Membership in the Nigerian Association Hamilton Wentworth and District is voluntary and
is open to all peoples of Nigeria by birth, Naturalization, Marriage or Heritage.
The Association is, however open for membership to people from other regions and
backgrounds who are committed to abiding by the principles and the established goals of the
association.
The primary geographic regions that are encompassed in the activities of the Association are
the Hamilton-Wentworth region and the surroundings which include Burlington, Oakville,
Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Grimsby and St.Catherine.
Application for Membership: Application for membership in the association shall be made on an application form.
Application for membership shall be deemed to be accepted if recommended and approved by a resolution at a general members meeting of the association.
Membership Classification:
(a) Regular Member:
A regular member of the association shall be either a Nigerian by birth, Naturalization, Marriage or Heritage
(b) Student Member:
A Student member shall be a registered full-time Student in a recognized Post-Secondary Institution and shall be either a Nigerian by birth, Naturalization, Marriage or Heritage.
